| Alenard: A boy of 14
whose past dogs his every step and throws deep darkness over his
future. Now under the care and employ of the Cliffton Town Guard, he
struggles to make sense of his new situation and unfamiliar people.
Hiltan Sojurn: The reserved Captain of the Cliffton Town Guard. He avoids venturing personal opinion or displays of emotion and focuses on the task at hand. Despite this, he is well-loved by his subordinates. Lord Vissis: The man who saved Alenard from execution, though why he did this no-one knows. Lord High Justice Vissis: The highest ranking judicial official of Levoton and the man responsible for Alenard's assignment to the Cliffton Guard. His motivations for doing so are as yet unknown. All that is certain is that Vissis will make great sacrifices for the wellbeing of Leveton. | ||
